There was some excitement after the Court Street Fair in Carroll Gardens yesterday evening. JP Pagan, whose wonderful photos we featured in a gallery last week, emailed to send these photos and reported, “Fire engines filled Carroll Street all along the park this evening. A couple of firemen took the bucket up to the top of the building on the corner of Court & Carroll and one seemed to be testing the cornice, pulling on it. Never found out what the issue was though.” Given the description and the condition of the building in question (we do know the bottom floor recently got a paint job, though), we’re going to guess that were some questions about what one might politely call structural integrity.
