When was the last time anyone REALLY saw a seal? Or walrus? Or muskrat? Or even a goddamn fish in the Gowanus?
Love the recent spate of Gowanus propaganda that’s designed to encourage future residential regardless how fucked things were, are & will be for long long while yet.
Evidence to the contrary welcome to make up for the cancer I’ll surely get from living here 18 years.
(Yes, I remember the brief flushing tunnel rebirth & I also know it’s been out longer than it was fixed for… Let’s not even get into ’80s Gowanus… well, ok: was what it was… CHEAP, & that was important. Maybe I can kick cancer’s ass when it comes, we’ll see.)
