Selling Williamsburg Condos with Banksy and Stroller Moms

Urbban Green Banksy Moms

Behold Williamsburg, as per the Urban Green website. It’s hard to know what to make of using Banksy to sell $900K condos on N. 6th and of picturing Bedford Avenue full of stroller moms, but we do know we can have fun pointing it out. (This is not to be confused with the Toll Brothers’ “Williamsburg All Grown Up” approach.) The Banksy in question, by the way, is the one that was painted over and then became the site of various Splasher attacks. As for the stroller moms, well, we hadn’t realized that Bedford Avenue was looking so Park Slope.

I thought you wanted people to appreciate street art. You elitist prick.

I wonder how many of these people realize that they live above the toxic Williamsburg oil spill. How many of these smiling faces will turn to frowns when the potential cancer risks of living above deadly toxic vapors cut there lives short.

I only see one woman with kids in this picture. Yes the street is full. Your attempt at exaggerating the issue is obvious.

not really sure what all the fuss is about. I think some people would be happier if Williamsburg was such a terrible place to live that no one wanted to live there. i agree it’s the market is out of control, but name one semi-desirable neighborhood in nyc that isn’t?

Did not consent to the photo. Glad to see I can blame myself when our family looses its lease because the developers of Urban Green purchase our building.

    Big love,

G / mom in the picture

You’re losing your edge. I cant think of a non-stroller mom, for one thing. Or dads. I am confused but I would hope you think moms are good things in a neighborhood, right? In general, families, children, those are good things by the way. That’s it. I’m done reading these stupid blogs. I have mortgage to pay and Moby Dick to finish. And you should write about the real issues, such as the millions of raw sewage spilled into the Hudson over the last 10 days.

I think it’s great that Urban Green likes street art. I’ll be sure to tag their building. That should give all those smiling white people a thrill.

How Ironic that “Urban Green” is located in the top 2 most Toxic of neighborhoods in Brooklyn and probably the 5 boroughs.. How “green” is it to live over brownfields, down the street from Radiac, and a stone’s through form the smelly and chemical heavy seage treatment plant and round the river bend from biggest oil spill in the US a la Exxon…..Yep that’s really “green’ and well gosh darn healthy…NOT…Don’t the Hipster Broker/Banker Frat Boys get it?
