When we were taking photos of the corner, the vendor behind this fantabulous sidewalk store started shouting at us, “No pictures! No pictures!” We hadn’t been photographing her stand, so much as the corner of N. 7th and Bedford, which is the epicenter of the weekend sidewalk vending scene in the Burg. Regardless, here’s a photo showing the state of Sunday sidewalk commerce in the Burg. That would be the No Photography on a Public Street Stand on the left.

why no pictures?
Are they stolen goods ?
We have a similar thing in brick lane here in London. They generally *are* stolen goods (at least the stuff worth buying is…)
