Prospect Park is especially beautiful right now, particularly as the unusually late fall foliage is still in the trees. Odds are, it’s only got a week or so left, and it’s already past peak, but it’s still worth a peaceful walk through the park. Is it just us, or does anyone else remember a fall when the leaves turned this late and were in the trees until nearly December?

Both the vividness of the colors and the extended fall foliage are unusual this year. A wet summer with no prolonged drought, warm temperatures late into the seasons, then cool but not freezing nights created perfect conditions.

yeah but doesn’t it make you wonder weather this is a temporary weather pattern or a sudden shift in seasons via global warming…we probably own’t get much snow again this winter…
