January 18th, 2008 · 3 Comments

News 12 did a report on the Times Plaza Station in Boerum Hill that we’ve been posting about all week (and it turns out that some of the emails we from residents that we related were featured in the story). Someone posted the vid to YouTube, so check out the embed below, especially noting the woman talking about how it can take hours to get things done.

A fresh coat of paint will really help me get my delivery from LL Bean.

these issues are not unique to this branch. every branch in the city has long lines, inconvenient package pickup hours, broken stamp machines and staff that disappear. they all have staff that mill about behind the glass but don’t actually help any customers.

Forget Boerum Hill’s postal service, Carroll Gardens is the worst, having to cross under the BQE to go the office in Red Hook is one thing but the mail delivery is where the issues lie. I’m quite certain our mail man can’t read as at least once a week he opens our door and throws a stack of mail into the building without sorting and putting in the mailboxes – wtf???
