Our Carrol Gardens Correspondent passed by the artwork painted on the construction fence at Third and Bond in Gowanus, where some condos are going up. The project is being chronicled with a cool insider feature at Brownstoner every week that offers an up-close at the project. Check out the latest installment here and the websit of artist Pasqualina Azzarello is here. In any case, the pics are cool, so here are a few of them.

You have to read the whole thing. It’s about what was there before the pavement. The photos don’t really show the whole thing. Also, the blog on this development will not ease the shock of what is planned there. There has been no rendering that I can find. Has anyone seen a rendering?

i love how they are just pining away for Whole Foods and the new public place development on the blog. practically drooling. but i think that they are one of the companies who is being considered for the job at Public Place.
