Our Carroll Gardens Correspondent went out of territory today and returned with this image from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden of bird and folliage: “The fleck of red is a Scarlet Tanager seen in the Native Flora Garden, today”.

Amazing! Wonderful shot, thanks for this, I can’t wait to check out the BBG, I’ve only seen one scarlet tanager and that was in eastern Long Island.
