New plans for 110 Amity Street in Cobble Hill, also known as the former Lamm Institute Building, are supposed to be show tonight. The original idea for the building was panned by the community and by the Landmarks Preservation Commission before being withdrawn by the developer so that suggestions from the community could be incorporated. At the time, an executive from the developer, Time Equities wrote: “We will re-conceive the project in a traditional street wall approach and try to present a plan that is responsive to the input received at the most recent Landmark hearing. As we did last time, we will reach out to the community and Landmark staff prior to presenting the final concept to the commission.” The meeting will take place tonight from 7PM-9PM in Conference Room B at Long Island College Hospital.
