Outside the Brooklyn Weather Observatory we have the makings of a scorcher. The forecast calls for a day that will be “mostly sunny and humid with the temperature near the record of 95.” Meanwhile, the National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 1PM-6PM and says “hot and humid conditions will be in place once again on Sunday. High temperatures are expected to top off in the middle to upper 90s with surface dew points around 70. This will result in a heat index around 100 degrees.”–Accuweather
