There are planters and, then, there are planters. This former toilet on Union Street near Nevins in Gowanus on the front steps a very rundown and possibly vacant home is a planter. Very DIY.

That’s not a vacant building. There is a small business on the bottom floor; I think it might be a bodega discount goods supplier. Or perhaps a middleman between fallen off the truck goods and bodegas. Also, very old pit bull usually on the doorstop.
