If you’re going to be in Prospect Park on July 4 it might be worth stopping by the Prospect Park Boathouse (which is always worth a stop, in any case) as the Independence Community Foundation is offering a free “family pass” with free admission to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Historical Society, Brooklyn Children’s Museum and a free ride on the Prospect Park Carousel. The pass allows a one-time family admission to each and is good from July 4-September 1. It will be given out from Noon-4PM.
