Years ago I visited queens and saw some wild parrots there. I was always under the impression that they were tropical birds and could not survive the NY winters but apparently I was wrong. I live in Miami where, on a good day you can even see beautiful scarlet macaws flying around along with a great number of other species. I guess with all the global warming they’ve promissed us we will soon begin to see more tropical birds in the northern states. Enjoy them.
