The first Williamsburg Walks event took place yesterday under blazing sun and opposite the Siren Festival in Coney Island. It looks like it was more lively than the efforts on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, but almost anything on Bedford is going to have an edge in that sense. We’ll be curious to see how it goes on upcoming Saturdays, particularly the ones where the heat index is under 100.
