Someone somewhere in Brooklyn turned fifteen recently and the hot pink balloons were captured by weenieart and placed in our GL Flickr Pool.

I don’t think this was a quincineta– there was a big welcome home sign as well outside a building on President Street close to 5th Avenue in Park Slope last Wednesday or Thursday. I live on the street and noticed that after the party, the residents kicked these balloons away from their stoop in front of the community garden next door. It appears that they have all refused to clean up the now ugly and depressing latex refuse from the popped balloons. Thanks guys!

Isn’t it ‘quincenera’ (with a cedilla or whatever you call the wavy thing over the n)?
