Among the openings that we missed during our hiatus was the opening of Eric New York, the new Park Slope branch of a shoe emporium that has made the jump from Manhattan. We wandered in on opening day and snapped some shots and figure that today is as good a day as any to announce the coming of Eric to what we had once deemed the Seventh Avenue Block of Death because of all the empty storefronts. They’re now all filled.

I have been to this store in Park slope and it is one of the most accomodating and elegant stores in the area. Eric himself helped me to buy an awesome pair of boots and the price was good enough that in these hard times most people could afford. There was also a nice selection of designer shoes and I would recommend, nay demand, anyone who needs a new pair of rockin heels or just some boots to go here!

I have a slight foot problem and wasn’t sure if the pair of boots I wanted were going to hurt me or stretch enough to be comfortable. Eric suggested I buy them, wear them around the house for a week and see for myself. He promised me a full refund, no questions asked if I didn’t wish to keep them.
After a week, I was able to determine that the beautiful leather had stretched in the right places and was able to keep the boots I loved.
Eric even stretched the boots at his facility and personally delivered them to my house.
That’s what I call outstanding customer service.
I will be back!
