What intersection is this?

Late 1940s/early 1950s, judging from the cars. Photo taken from an El train platform (note rails in left foreground). Possibly somewhere later transformed into a housing project. A lot of sites which became housing projects are documented on the LaGuardia College website, which holds the digitized NYCHA archives.
