The Board of Standards and Appeals, which rules on disputes about developments about which there is deep controversy, has postponed making a decision about the troubled 360 Smith Street development in Carroll Gardens. The issue is whether the building should rise to 70 feet under original zoning or be reduced to 55 feet per a zoning change this summer. The next decision date mentioned is November 25. Stay tuned.
