If you’ve wandered about Prospect Park, then surely you must have set your sights on the lovely Litchfield Villa on the western side of the park. If not, for shame. It’s kinda hard to miss since it stands on one of the highest points in the park and over looks the Long Meadow. Over 150 years old and miraculously spared the intended demolition back in the 60s, this building’s got some history. We came across a superb post in the A Year In The Park blog that offers an amazing peek at and personalized history lesson about the interior of this Brooklyn gem.
