[Exclusive photos for Gowanus Lounge by Ted Guslavic]
This is Littlefield, the upcoming club on Degraw Street in Gowanus between Fourth and Third Avenues. Our correspondent Ted Guslavic reports that he stuck his camera under the gate at Littlefield, was mildly menaced by a worker who caught him, but still came away with a few shots of the what the exterior looks like. The club has been promising a “fall 2008” opening. While we don’t have shots of the interior, by the looks of things, they may not be far off target, though we’re going to guess Winter is perhaps most likely. Correspondent Guslavic has earned himself a free drink on GL at Bell House.

“Littlefield” I get it, what a joke! The place looks really pitiful. The “little” landscaping is pathetic. I don’t care when it opens or if it ever opens because I am never going to waste any time in that place.

Marsha Davis says:
“I don’t care when it opens or if it ever opens because I am never going to waste any time in that place.”
This, based on five exterior pictures of unfinished construction?
Man, you’re judgemental.
Do the clubs you usually go to have massive, blooming jungles out front in the middle of December?

It does take intuitive consciousness, responsible forethought and good personal judgment to avoid the insincere and pretentious. This is just one more club in the already overstocked grand sea of mediocrity. Gimmicks just don’t turn me on.

Fair enough.
Personally, if the music’s good enough I don’t really care that much about the club itself. Except Webster Hall.. I will always hate that place.
