It seems like only yesterday this was an empty lot with a pretty tree that blossomed every spring. No longer. This is 311 Warren Street, which is a five-story endeavor. DOB records show it as having only one dwelling unit, which has to be a typo. Either that, or someone’s building themselves a big place at Smith and Warren.

I’m going to miss the smell of the honeysuckle that used to bloom there. Now I’ll get to look at that ugly building instead. Ah, progress!

You’re wrong about the DOB records. They show a storefront, a medical office on the 2nd floor, and two apartments above that.

I shot the exact photo and ws gonna send it, but, it made me too sad. I loved that tree and you can’t see the clapboard house anymore.
