As you can see from the photos above another Seventh Avenue institution in Park Slope, Super Saver on Seventh, which is near Union Street is closing. The sign says that Berman Realty is handling the leasing of the space, but it’s not listed on its website yet. What we found, however, was another interesting little surprise. It’s a space that for rent that looks like La Taqueria. If news of its pending closure has been reported, we’ve missed it, but check out the listing below.

Despite prices that have crept up through the years, La Taq remains a vibrant place to enjoy authentic SoCal style food. The guys behind the counter are friendly and helpful, as are the checkout women. A shuttered La Taq would be a major loss for the Slope.

NOOOOOOOO!!!! Not Tacqueria! There’s nowhere else you can get a good, quick, fresh and totable meal for $7.

La Taqueria for rent? I’m hoping they are moving to another space, but if they disappeared, wow… Lots of people will be sad to say the least. They are great!

That is most definitely La Tacqueria. That’s Cousin John’s Bakery to its right.

I KNEW it was only a matter of time before a great store like supersaver would go down. Can’t count the times I couldnt find something in a local pharmacy or other general type local store and sure enough, SS would always have item in question. Guess we need another overpriced children’s boutique or toy store, eh? Or maybe some overpriced adult clothing or ‘gifts’? Whatever goes in, it’s sure to have no value or interest for me.

I thought the guy who owns La Tacqueria has another place on 5th Avenue
