It’s that time of year again, and this year they have garlic! Added Value is hosting the annual Red Hook Harvest Festival at the ever popular Red Hook Community Farm. Come on down this Saturday, October 18th for fresh produce, farm tours, pumpkin carving, face painting, cooking demos (we hope tasting samples too!), live music and poetry. Gates open at 10:30AM and there will be fun to be had until 5PM. So head on down for some fresh veggies and some fun. The farm is located on Columbia Street just off Beard St. It’s right across the street from a new landmark that’s impossible to miss: Ikea.
