Oh Craigslist, even if you’re going to stop being the place where everyone goes to find, uh, erotic services, you will always continue to entertain us in so many other ways:
F*cking yuppies and your ugly azz condos (Park Slope)
Get the fuck out of my neighborhood. I am the 4th generation in my family that lives here and because asshole bloomberg took advantage of what was orignially cheap real estate here and built all the ugly 15 – 20 story condo buildings in an area famous for 3- 4 story brownstones I can no longer afford to live here. where myself my mother and grandmother were born and raised. No one! not one person that was born and raised here wants you here. Please please leave!!! all of these buildings were put up in only the last 3 years how sad is that 30+ buildings in park slope in 3 years…. Please just go away!
Any questions?

well technically the large condos are increasing the supply of housing and should result in a decrease in prices in the neighborhood.
and if your mother and grandmother were raised here, that makes you the 3rd generation.

This stuff happens everywhere, NYC is not unique in this. My family is also quite nomadic, none of us live in the states we were born in, including my parents. I think I’d be awfully bored living in one place my entire life, NYC or not. I’m really getting tired of these people with chips on their shoulders cause they were born here. Some of the best people in their respective communities weren’t born here but they love it here and often give back more to their communities than these angry “natives.”

that rant makes no sense at all. if they would have bought, they would’ve been happy. if they didn’t buy, then clearly they are not really that invested in the area. isn’t anyone who actually BUYS something more a believer in the area??
also, has posted above, increased supply should help prices come down.
so tired of the morons in this town.
