Adoptable Brooklyn Cutie of the Week: Willis

February 16th, 2008 · 1 Comment

We’re starting a new series this week that we hope will be a regular weekly feature–or, at least, a fairly regular one: adoptable pet of the week. We’re going to be featuring animals available for adoption at the Sean Casey Animal Rescue shelter in Kensington. If we help one kind soul hook up with one dog, cat or other creature in need of a home, we’ll be quite content.

Willis

This is Willis. He is not only a gorgeous animal, he’s had a tough life and could use some love. Here’s the info about him:

Willis is a big mush Akita/Chow mix who just wants to cuddle up and sleep on the couch. He was found locked in a building under the Willis Ave Bridge starving and lonely. We think he is six years old. Shy and sweet from his tough life, he needs a home with much love to bring him out of his shell.

How can someone not want this gorgeous dog and show him some years of comfort, pampering and love? His petfinder profile, along with more sad details, are here. Sean Casey Animal Rescue is located at 155 East 3rd Street in Kensington. Their number is 718.436.5163.

I want to go and socialize the reptiles.

    The doggies are also nice.
