No one, it seems, wants the Khalil Gibran International Academy, the Arabic-themed school in Brooklyn. Park Slopers gave it the boot last year. So, it moved to a spot in Boerum Hill, which it apparently has outgrown. The plan for next year is to move it to PS 287 in Fort Greene. Guess what? “At a meeting with education officials Tuesday night, parents from PS287 were uneasy about older students moving into the building used by their younger kids.”–NYDN
