This is what would appear to be Coney Island’s version of Water Taxi Beach, except that it is Beer Island, featuring beer, wine, food and entertainment. This is the property was a miniature golf course before it was demolished by developer Joe Sitt. Last summer, it was home to a big, inflatable water slide. (Note the Mister Softee truck that appears to be a permanent summer resident in a pit surrounded by sand.) It they could truck in and plant some palm trees for the reason and install a water feature, it would be complete. Cheers.
