Those who are looking forward to having a Bank of America branch on Seventh Avenue and Sixth Street in Park Slope as well as a Five Guys burger place should be elated: both are on the verge of opening, with the bank appearing a tad closer. Those who still miss the D’Agostino’s and the Gothic Cabinet Craft that died so that these two ventures could come to Seventh Avenue probably have different feelings. In any case, that’s the B of A above and the Five Guys below. Happy banking and burgering, Park Slope.

Good thing, because as it stands the closest Bank of America Branch is all the way on 9th st. and 7th ave. Oh, and there’s one on 14th st. and 5th ave.
I’m really just hoping Tea Lounge (10th and 7th) is replaced by another one when it closes at the end of the month.
Ample ATM access is what makes me love my neighborhood!

And of course, having yet another overpriced B of ATM is way better than the supermarket that was there before…..

EC your sarcasm is great except there isnt a BofA branch on 9th and 7th.
PS is not ‘overbanked’ in fact up until recently it was underserved. Some of us do not have time to walk 40 blocks round trip to the bank every week.

Excited about Bank of America? If anyone is…they need to get out more. At least Five Guys offers delicious burgers.

dave you are a loser, walk to the bank branch on 14th st if you need to interact with a teller. most banking does not need a teller. It is ridiculous to put more Bank of America atms anywhere in our neighborhood. Bank of America is a redlining rip off $3 atm fees. Cant something decent be constructed, banks and burgers, that is all this community can come up with.

i’m with you elizabeth, why can’t a grocery store open that offers a healthier selection of food, for god’s sake, isn’t america fat enough?
