Yes, Dylan is doing his thing at the Bandshell in Prospect Park tonight and the ticket bazaar is in full swing. General admission lawn seats are in the $140-$200 range on Craigslist, with most closer to the $200 end of the scale. Actual seats are upwards of $200. Tix on Stubhub go up to $565 each

Tickets were available for weeks after the concert was announced. There’s no excuse for buying from scalpers, whether they be on Craigslist, Stubhub or outside the venue.
In any case, Dylan’s web site provides set lists for recent concerts. Nice to see him span the years of his career, offering songs from each decade. Unfortunately, reviewers emphasize that Dylan’s articulation of lyrics remains poor…essentially, he’s a mumbler. And, if you expect a reproduction of studio versions of songs, you’re gonna be disappointed. Be that as it may, I’m looking forward to seeing him live for the first time since November 22, 1975 (The Rolling Thunder Revue Tour…Dylan in whiteface).

Does anyone know what time the show starts? Ticketmaster lists 7pm, but bobdylan.com lists 8pm.

Can’t you just stand outside the gate and still hear it? I would just do that if I can’t afford a ticket.

Seriously?!? $565? Dylan is one of the few performers I willingly pay a lot of money to see. But I’ve never paid more that $80. Wow. Save your money and check out a show in upstate NY. I’ll bet you’ll save money, even with gas prices.
